Good morning.  Well a bit cloudy but temperature wise dong pretty good here this morning.  When I woke up it was reading 26 degrees.  Daytime temperature is going to reach 31 °f  then drop to 20 °f later on tonight.  Might get a bit of snow today too, so take care out there when traveling. Right at the moment  Highway 522 this morning is bare and dry.  Barometer is sitting at 29.65 in Hg an falling.  Winds are from the West and calm.  The moon today  rose at 7:50 AM & will set at 5:13 PM. It will be Overhead at  2:27 PM & Underfoot at 2:05 AM.  Moon Phase today is   7% Waxing Crescent.  The sun rose this morning beating me out of bed at 7:07 AM and will set at  5:57 PM, giving us here in Port Loring 10 hrs. 50 mins. of daylight today.  For the folks wanting to do some ice fishing, the old weather stick says the best times to be out there today will be from 2:30 PM till 4:30 PM.

Not much to report here this morning other than a friend here on the Blog was asking what all the construction was going on up around Wolf River.  Al Dare got back to me and said they were putting in a new bridge. So that explains what is happening.  Thanks Al for the information.  Well guess I will go, got to throw another log in the old  furnace, still burning wood in this neck of the woods.  Then thinking on a nice hot cup of tea and after that see what the day brings my way.
