Great news for Webb Simpson winning the US Open. I always like it when a young contender moves up the ladder.
Sunday evening, belonged to Webb Simpson, who squeezed just enough out of his final round — four birdies in the last 13 holes, parring in from the 11th — to win by a nose when the leading contenders could not handle the stress. News For Port Loring & District
Not much happening around town. Weather didn’t corporate for those Fathers wanting to do some sittin’ in the old sunshine; but that will all change after today as lots of sunshine is heading our way with nice warm temperatures to go along with it. The rain though was much needed and looking at my vegetable garden this morning I am thinking it grew about six inches last night. Nothing can get a garden to growing nicer than good old Mother Nature. Remember this folks; We are all fed by the soil of the planet we walk upon, we drink her water, we breathe her air and we eat her food. We carry her with every breath, with every step, with every sip, and with every bite we take. We came from it and will end up becoming part of it. Have a great day.
