Good morning. Today it will be mostly cloudy but should see a bit of sun off and on through out the day.  High today of around 38F. Winds from the South at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight we might see a shower or a few flurries with a low of around 30F. Winds will be light.  The barometer this morning is sitting at 29.65 in Hg.  Temperatures at 6:00 AM was 32 degrees.  The moon will rise at: 8:09 AM & set at 5:32 PM.  Moon Phase today is:   1%  Waxing  Crescent.  The sun will rise this morning at, 7:18 AM & set at
4:47 PM, giving us here in Port Loring; 9 hrs. 29 mins of daylight.  For those wanting to do some hunting today like myself as I will be heading out shortly.  The old weather stick says the best times to be out there will be from: 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM.  Then again from: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  Out of a five buck day I give it a four rating.  Should be a great day for hunting I am thinking, but one never really knows.  Enjoy your day my friends and stay safe.

  News For  Port Loring

Not much to report.  All is quiet around town and will continue to do so till after hunting season.  As I said I am heading out to the Booth’s Farm this morning here so see what the day brings upon me.  Maybe I will be looking in the right direction this time when that big old buck makes his appearance.  LOL.  Enjoy your day my friends.
