Good morning.  Well was out of town for a few days so didn’t get to do much here on the Blog.  It will be some what cloudy this morning with increasing clouds during the afternoon. High today will reach  21F. Winds will be from the ENE coming in  at 10 to 15 mph.   Tonight we will have quite a bit of snow along with gusty winds at times. Low tonight will drop to 19F. Winds will continue coming in from the ENE at 15 to 25 mph. We could get up to 8 inches of snow also. Barometer is holding steady and at the moment sitting at 29.44 in Hg.  The moon will rise at 3:09 AM & set at 1:47 PM.  Moon phase today is;   19%  Waning  Crescent.  The sun rose at; 7:49 AM & will set at 4:33 PM.  Giving us here in Port Loring 8 hrs. 44 mins. of daylight.  Lost 1 minute.  For those wanting to head on out and do some hunting today.  The old weather stick says the best times to be out there will be from; 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM & then again later on at; 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM.

News For Port Loring

Nothing much happening in and around town.  Did go to North Bay to visit my son on Friday along with some Christmas shopping.  Have to say the stores are packed including the Mall.  Good sign though, means folks are out an about and spending money, makes for a good economy.  Today going to clean out the old stove pipes. Like to clean them three times a year, first time now just before Christmas.  Eliminates a lot of problems that could happen if you don’t.  So enjoy your day my friends, get rested up as might need to clean the driveway tomorrow morning.
