Events & Happenings In And Around Port Loring

So how you all doing this morning/  Good I hope, don’t need anyone not feeling well with Christmas closing in on us.  Today will be mostly cloudy with a high of 17F. Winds will be light today coming in from the SS West.. Later on tonight we will see a few snow flurries with a low of 11F. Winds will continue coming in from the SSW possibly changing tot he SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow tonight 40%.  Highway 522 is bare with a few slippery spots here and there, so caution should be taken if out and about.  Barometer was rising through the night and is sitting at 29.18 in Hg.  The moon will rise at; 5:40 AM  & set at; 3:13 PM.    Moon Phase today is:  Solunar Table Moon Phase is 4% percent waning crescent   4%  Waning Crescent.  The sun rose this morning behind some clouds at; 7:51 AM & will set at: 4:33 PM. Giving us here in Port Loring Ontario, 8 hrs. 42 mins. of daylight.  Lost one more minute of daylight yesterday. For those wanting to do some hunting the old weather stick says the best times to be out there today will be from; 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  Then again from; 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM.  Might pay just to pack a lunch and stay tor the day.   Bow season for deer is winding down now as it is finished on the 15th of Dec.  Hope you all got meat in the freezer.

After Bow Season is finished on the 15th of December I will stop adding the Hunting times here on the Blog. Once the lakes are froze over I will continue on with Ice Fishing Times.  Enjoy your day my friends.
