Good morning.  Today we will finally see some sunshine clouding up a wee bit this afternoon.  . High today will reach up to near 30F. Winds will be from the South South West coming in at 5 to 10 mph.  Tonight things will cloud up as the night progresses.  Low tonight will be around the 21F mark.  Will come in from the South East at 5 to 10 mph.  The sun rose showing off this morning at; 7:58 AM & will set at  4:54 PM, giving us here in Port Loring Ontario; 8 hrs. 56 mins. of daylight.  Gained 2 more minutes yesterday.  For those wanting to do some ice fishing today, the old weather stick says the best times to be out there is between; 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM.  Then again from; 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM.  I give it a three fish rating out of five.   Highway 522 is bare and dry for most parts.  Great day to get out and do what ever you feel like doing.  Weather data from our old weather station in full………………..

News For Port Loring

Nice sunny day folks with temperatures up near 30 F so great day to head on out and soak up some of that sunshine. If one could get out of the wind in a real secluded spot, you would be able to almost take your shirt off.  The day before yesterday I could start feeling the warmth from the sun again.  Feels good too and nothing is better for ones health.  The cold is what is needed to get rid of the flu bug and the sunshine prevents you from getting it.  No flu shot needed.  Always surprises me with so many flu shots being handed out that the flu in this country is getting worse.  That in itself should tell folks something.  Will it?
