Events & Things Right Here In Port Loring Ontario

Good morning.  Had some other items on my morning list yesterday so couldn’t get the weather and things on here.  Anyways today we will have a bit of snow early in the day then a bit heavier as the day progresses.  Today’s high will reach up to 14F. Winds will be quite light coming in from the  North East.  I figure we should get  1 to 2 inches of snow.   Tonight we will get a few flurries with lows reaching 7F.  Winds will continue being light through the evening.  The sun did rise this morning showing off a touch, then hiding behind some clouds at; 7:48 AM & will set at: 5:14 PM, giving us here in Port Loring; 9 hrs. 26 mins. of daylight.  Gained another; 2 minutes yesterday.  For those wanting to do some ice fishing the old weather stick says the best times to be out there will be from; 11:00 AM – 1:30PM.  Then again from; 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM.  Highway 522 is still covered snow packed areas and ice so one should take care if driving.   Also with the new snow that is heading our way as it will cover the ice so one can’t tell its there.  No snow fell through the night. For exact weather data click this link; http://www.loringlsb.ca/weather-station/ It will take you to our new weather station with all the precise weather data for you to view.  More things will be added to it as time goes by. News For Port Loring

Not much to report, still quite quiet around town as folks are kinda staying home with it being so cold and rightly so, as it is a touch hard on folks.  Not to forget our cars and things too.  But still good to get some fresh air, just make sure you cover your mouth and dress warm.  Enjoy your day my friends.
