Good Morning:    Happy Thanksgiving.   Hope all is well and you are all enjoying the season.  Not as cold here in Port Loring this morning.    Temperatures waking up were sitting at…7.4 C | 45.32 F.

Forecast For Today:    Stormy, much rain will be upon us a bit later.  But it will get warmer for the next few days, Could even reach up to near 70 F / 21 C.  So some nicer weather but will be quite wet out there.

Hunting Times:  Today data is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM.  Precise times are: 8:00 AM…11:00 AM…2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.  I give it a 3 Buck rating out of 5 for seeing a few.   Winds are coming in from the South South East at around 2 MPH. So choose your location wisely. You want to stay up wind of them if possible.  But in saying that I have found that every once in awhile the deer are inquisitive and like to take a look at what they smell or see. Around Town:   Today Highway 522 is very quiet.  I suspect that a bit later a few folks will be out travelling to their families and friends.  For my wife and I we will be here at home as we had some things hold us back from going to see our son this year.  So rest is on your plates this year and of course a nice chicken supper will be added a bit later on i the day.  So my friends once again… I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy your day.    George Walters…[email protected]
