Good Morning:  Well waking up it was quite windy with temperatures sitting at…0.3 C | 32.54 F.

Forecast For Today:  Unsettled, short fine intervals.  Some light flurries could be upon us later on in the day.  Will get colder though as the day progresses with some high winds.

Hunting Times:  This morning the old weather stick is saying the best times to be out there will be from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM.  Then again a bit later from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  Winds this morning are coming in from the West North West at 3.4 m/s | 12.24 km/h | 7.61 mph.  They could rise to around 15 MPH  throughout the day.  Times to be out there half hour before sunrise 6:46 AM.  Time to be out of the bush Half Hour after sunset 5:22 PM.  I give it a two Buck Rating out of 5 for seeing a few.

Around Town:   Still quiet with folks taking things easy after a busy summer.  Some are out hunting, some are bringing in firewood and some, well, just enjoying what comes naturally. Last week of rifle season for deer here in Port Loring.  Things are winding down.  Lots of reports of folks getting a few, so will be a few happy faces when the arrive back home to their family.  Not to forget all the nice meat they will have in the freezer come winter.  So my friends, stay warm and dry and enjoy your day.  You can reach me George Walters at:   [email protected]
