Information For Port Loring Ontario

Good Morning:  Well nice looking day here in Port Loring:  Sun is shining with temperatures sitting at 18.3 C | 64.94 F.  Things will start to warm up even more around 11:00 AM.  Can’t beat that.

Forecast For Sunday:  We will see plenty of sunshine today with showers entering into the picture late in the day and into tomorrow.  All week a threat of rain will be in the forecast.  Seasons change, weather changes.

Bug Report:  Things are pretty good in this department.  Few deerflies annoying folks but not so bad.  Great outside weather to do just about anything.  Enjoy it while you can.

Highway Report:  Highway 522,  69,  11 were quite busy yesterday but will slow down some today.  Great travelling weather.

Fishing Report:  Today the old weather stick along with gathered data from our very own weather station here in Port Loring is saying that that the best times to be out there will be from 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Then once again from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Then later on from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.  Lots of time to pull in that big Pickerel or Large Mouth Bass. I give it a 3 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few this morning and a 5 fish rating later on in the day.  I was out yesterday with my friend Barry and his brother.  Had a great day and did pull in a few nice ones.  Was a beauty of a day let me tell you.  Out in the boat, with great friends, catching a few, what could be better. Around Town:  Quiet for most parts with folks just enjoying their time at the cottage.  Can’t say I blame them neither.  On another note seasons are changing and that means things needs to be done in preparation of what is to come.  Firewood needs to be put in along with canning and cleaning up the gardens.  Lots to do for sure.  I have to say though I enjoy doing it, gives one a purpose in life.  Without it what is there.  With that tea time here.  Turmeric with a touch of orange pekoe this morning.  Enjoy your day my friends.  Inquiries: [email protected]
