Morning Chat October 17 For Port Loring Ontario

Good Morning Port Loring. Cold morning waking up.  Temperatures dipped down to -2.9 C | 26.58 F.  through the night.

Forecast For Saturday:  It will remain cold all day.  A few flurries are in the wind but some sunshine will prevail as the day moves along.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and dry so far this morning.  Travelling will be excellent.  Great day to be on the highway taking in sights and possibly picking up some items of choice in a town or city.

Pain Related To Weather Report:  Today the weather will be of a benefit helping the body with pains and aches.  Seems to me it would be a great day to go for a walk or head off somewhere for a drive.

Fishing Report:  Today fishing will be poor.  I give it a 1 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few.  Best times to be out there will be from 4:00 PM – 7:45 PM.  In saying that one can’t be certain.  Never know when you might hook on that good size pickerel.  Good Luck!

Hunting Report:  Today should be a pretty good day for hunting.  I give it a 4 buck rating out of 5 for seeing a few.  For getting one, that is up to you.  Times to be out there will be from 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM.  Then once again a bit later on from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  Stay safe and good luck!

Around Town:  The cold temperatures took its toll on things in the gardens last night.  Pretty well finished things up for the season.  Sign of what is to come.  The old oil furnace kicked on and off through the night.  Old familiar sounds entering into the picture.  Today going to take things a bit easy.  Might do a bit of writing on a novel I been thinking of.  Great to be able to go through life doing what one wants.  In reality it is up to each individual.  It is our choice no one else’s.  With that will head off for my morning tea and thinking a bagel will be in order this morning.  Change is good now and then.
