Good Morning: We did have a wee bit of rain a day or so ago but nothing that would wet the dust. Plants in the gardens need watering almost every day now. But in-spite of the dry conditions things are growing quite well. Tomatoes are starting to show themselves and pumpkins are getting higher along with the corn. We are eating fresh lettuce every day mixed with garlic scapes. Pretty tasty let me tell ya. Today will take things easy a bit, messed up my back some. Amazing how one can work hard for two or three weeks then just bend over to take the mats out of the car to wash and bang!! out goes the back. So a bit of rest is in order till things settle down. With that enjoy your day and more so enjoy the sunshine. Lots of sun, is the key to good health.

Bug Report: Other than a few mosquitoes, the odd black-fly and a few pesky deer flies things are pretty good these days, bug-wise.
Fishing Report: Today the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 7:21 AM – 10:21 AM. Then later on from 2:46 PM – 4:46 PM. I give it a 2 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few. Good Luck!
