Good Morning Port Loring
Another cloudy rainy morning. Waking up temperatures were sitting at 6.6 C | 43.88 F Highway 522 is bare and travelling should be good other than a rainy day. Today it will be cloudy, breezy; a brief morning shower or two, then a little rain for the rest of the day. Not a great day weather wise. But in saying that all this rain is getting things growing. Trees are all out in bud and grass is greening up fast. Even the wild Leeks are up and my lovely wife made some Leek soup, yesterday. Pretty tasty too. With that I am off for my morning coffee and will see what the day has in store for us. Furnace is still running. Man long winter. GW
Good Morning Port Loring Happy Mothers Day
Cloudy day waking up. Temperatures were sitting at 7.7 C | 45.86 F Today we should see some sun, then increasing clouds. It will warm up some though which will make Mothers Day that much more enjoyable. Tomorrow we will see some more rain. On another note we are still having to turn on the furnace throughout the day and evening hours to keep warm. Crazy weather. Highway 522 is dry so travelling will be good. With that I am off once again for my morning coffee with my lovely wife, I was hoping we could get some front porch sitting in today and soak up some of that much-needed sunshine. One can only hope. Nice looking morning waking up. Sun was shinning and birds were chirping . It is a touch cool though with temperatures at time of post sitting at 2.8 C | 37.04 F It should warm up and be a nice day all way round. Tomorrow is going to be warmer, and we should see some sunshine throughout the day. We might even get some front porch sitting in if things goes right. They were calling for some not so good weather over the weekend, but looks not too bad now. One just never knows when it comes to Nature. Highway 522 is bare and dry this morning so there is no reason not to make that trip to North Bay for groceries and things. On another note the grass is growing leaps and bounds. I am thinking that next week we will have to mow it for the first time. My vegetable garden is still quite wet so it will take a few days of sunshine to dry it out, so I can till it. With that I am off to have a cup of coffee with my lovely wife and will see what the day has in store. GW

Today we will see a passing morning shower; otherwise, low clouds and a touch cool. Tomorrow it will probably remain cloudy and if we are lucky we might see some sunshine on Sunday. We woke up to sunny weather. But there is a warning up for heavy rain starting tonight into early Thursday morning. Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm are possible with the heaviest rain falling Thursday during the day. Temperatures were on the cool side getting out of bed sitting at 0.5 C | 32.9 F Highway 522 is bare and dry which will make travelling good. I would think if your in need of a few things in North Bay this would be the day to go. On another note the trees are really showing some sign of coming out of hibernation, which will give us the look of summer. Lots of Robins searching for worms along with numerous summer birds are entering into the picture each day. It sure is nice watching them coming back each year. With that I am off to have my morning cup of tea with my lovely wife, and will see what the day has in store. GW

Good Morning Port Loring
Sunny morning at the time of this post. But clouds seem to be moving in. Cool though with temperatures sitting at 2 C | 35.6 F Highway 522 is bare and dry and travelling should be great. Today we should see plenty of sunshine but cool. Tomorrow will be the same but then more rain and colder temperatures for Thursday and Friday. Then nicer weather for the weekend. I hope it warms up some. I would have liked to till up my veggie garden but its been so wet and cold no use doing it. Last year at this time looking at my notes I had my gardens tilled up and the first of next week I planted all my vegetables. First time in 15 years that I beat the black-flies. I don’t see that happening this year. So much for global warming. Of course they will tell you this is the reason for this not so good weather we are having now. You can’t win with these so called specialists. My view on the subject of global warming, it is as it’s suppose to be and has been for millions of years. It’s the trend of what is to be and has been and nothing we are doing like taxing folks to death at the gas pumps and other places is going to make it any better. So with that I am off to have my morning coffee and will see what the day has in store. Maybe I will get my lean-too fixed up a bit as my yearly firewood should be coming soon. Well a few clouds greeted us this morning. Today it will be Cloudy, a couple of showers and cooler. Highway 522 is bare and dry at time of post. Tomorrow though we should see some more sunshine. Hopefully the sun will warm things up a touch. It sure was a nice day yesterday. The sun shone all day and was quite warm. I manged to clean up my lawn chairs that were in dire need and washed the car. My lovely wife and I even got in some front porch sitting and enjoyed a drink or two. Can’t beat that. This morning I am taking my car down to my friend Kerry, Booth’s garage here in Port Loring to get serviced and a bit of work done on some other things. Great place to have your vehicle looked after. With that I am off for my morning coffee and will see what the day has in store. GW
Good Morning Port Loring
Well another great looking day. Sun is shinning once again and temperatures are warming up. Waking up they were sitting at 4.3 C | 39.74 F A touch cool but will warm up as the day moves forward. Yesterday I did get some of my equipment running and also managed to roll the front yard. Makes things a lot nicer for mowing and walking. My wife got our small store all set up so it is ready to go. So getting things done. Today I will work on some more equipment like my tiller then in the afternoon do some front porch sitting and take in some sunshine as tomorrow we are back to cloudy conditions and a bit of rain. Just what we need, hmm. With that I am off for my morning coffee with my lovely wife. Great day for travelling if need be. Highway 522 is bare and dry. Bit more traffic too with folks easing their way back into our area. Won’t be long and our population will triple. GW

Really nice morning with lots of sunshine. Makes a fellow want to get out of bed. Highway 522 is bare and dry throughout. Grass is green and looking good. Trees are starting to come out in bud and I suspect leaves won’t be far off. Nice to watch every spring. Temperatures were sitting at 5 C | 41 F Great day to be doing anything outside. I am going to see if my mowers and things survived the winter. Getting them running can be a chore when starting them for the first time. Then if things work to plan I might roll my lawn, I have one that you toe behind the mower. Home made one. Doesn’t look the greatest but does the job LOL. The good thing is we are seeing more green each morning instead of more white. Today will remain cool, but we might see a wee bit of sunshine. Tomorrow it will warm up some, but we will still see some lingering showers. Then the weekend is looking good. Maybe even get some front porch sitting’ . With that I am off to put some more wood in the furnace I sure will be happy when I am done feeding it for the season.

Tomorrow will be much like today but a touch warmer. Then if luck is with us we should see some sunshine. That would be nice. Highway 522 is bare and dry so far this morning. On the good side of things looking out the window I see a lot of green which is nice. Trees are just starting to come out in bud and most of our birds of summer are back with us. The wild leeks are showing their leaves a bit so a bowl of leek soup isn’t far off. With that I am off to stoke my furnace for another day of burning wood and will then have a cup of coffee with my lovely wife. GW
