Another really nice day here in Port Loring Ontario, Canada. Sun is shinning birds are making a noise and temperatures have cooled down to where it makes a fellow want to do some front porch sittin”. Which I might just do today, later on. Temperatures were sitting at 13 C | 55.4 F. Today I will get busy and stain my back deck as it is good to do while things are dry. Especially on the north side of the house where the sun doesn’t hit it that often. Then I will get back to my shop work as I have numerous small orders to bring together. Then I will work on my Flutes. And here I said awhile back I had all my chores done that needed doing. HMM. With that I am off for a cup of fresh perked coffee with my lovely wife and will see what else the day has in store for me. Sometimes I head in one direction and don’t make it as other things come into play. Such is life. But I like it that way, makes things more interesting.

Today fishing won’t be the greatest, but if you keep moving about you should hook onto a few. Today I give it a 2 Star Rating out of 5 for catching a few. Winds are light coming in from the East. If the winds change which I think they will, fishing could pick up. Good luck and stay safe.
The sun is shinning once again here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada. Temperatures were nice through the evening hours which made it really nice for sleeping. Waking up they were sitting at 57F/13C. It won’t be as hot today. The next few days will remain cooler than what we have been having. Yesterday I did manage to mow our grass which makes things look much nicer. The grass has slowed down some, but I did manage to get two bags of cuttings for my tomatoes. This time of year they are in need of some nourishment, which makes the tomatoes taste that much better. I have some that are the right size but still green. Shouldn’t be long, and we will be having fresh tomato sandwiches for lunch. Today I will stain the back deck. After that my chores for the summer that needed doing are all finished. With that I am off for my morning cup of coffee on the front porch. We hate to not take advantage of this nice weather.

Another great looking day here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada. Sun is shinning and temperatures were sitting at a comfortable 18.9 C | 66.02 F. Hard to beat that. It will warm up some as the day moves forward. Today I have some shop work to do along with a bit of mowing, so all in all it is enough to keep me busy. Yesterday we went to North Bay for some supplies. Had a great day other than spending money. But what can you do. We also had lunch with our son, chatted for a spell then arrived back home around 4:00 PM. I have to say the stores were swamped with customers. I don’t think anyone works anymore. But it is summer and there is a lot of vacationers blending into the picture. With that I am off for my morning cup of coffee. Have a great day.

Another sunny nice day here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada. It is nice to have cooler temperatures for sleeping. I actually had to shut some windows through the night being a touch too cool. Not complaining mind ya. Temperatures waking up were sitting at 18.9 C | 66.02 F. It will warm up as the day moves forward but it will be a really nice day. The weekend is looking good too other than a slight chance of a shower on Saturday. Today I have some work to do on my back deck fixing a few boards along with a coat of sealer. Then I will get back to my Flute making. I am starting to make some progress finally. There are so many steps in making them, at first it seems like you are going nowhere. But, such is life. Black flies, mosquitoes in our area are tolerable now. Horse and deer flies are annoying in certain areas. All in all not so bad. With that I am off for my morning cup of coffee and then will see what the day has in store for me. I make plans for the day, but the results are another story. Have a great day.
