Morning Report Oct 6/19

It’s a rainy morning waking up here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada. We are supposed to have some sunshine today but the way things are looking right now it’s hard to believe. But that’s the way Mother Nature does things. Temperatures are warmer this morning sitting at 11.4 C | 52.52 F. The wet weather will help the trees to lose their leaves a bit quicker, especially if we have some wind. Hardly a car moving east or west on Highway 522 this morning. Most of the tourists have left and the cottagers have closed things up for winter. You could say it is time for a breather for us that live here. I don’t mind myself, as we did have a really busy summer. But it does look like I will have a bit of work to do this winter with another new book coming out along with two more columns to write every week. It should keep my mind active, which is a good thing. This morning I am going to see about finishing up some small orders in the woodworking shop and this afternoon my wife and I will take things a bit easy. Maybe have a drink or two together. With that I am off for my morning cup of coffee and a bite to eat. I should also mention for those that haven’t heard, they scheduled a power outage today from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. So, if you have some things to do it might pay to get them done beforehand.
