Life Information

I know  life challenges us for a reason but that doesn’t become apparent until later. Heine’s sight is 2020 as they say.

This year is challenging for all of us. Before we didn’t have to worry so much about how things we do impact the world around us. Maybe this is why the world is going through this. To teach us that everything we do does affect the air the water the trees, animals, birds, fish, insects etc…the food we eat the land we walk on the lives all around us. If we don’t pay attention to all these things… We won’t survive!  So yes … I think we’ll all need to think before we act!

Morning slice of life Oct 8/2020

Good Morning! I hope you all are well. Weather wise it is a bit cloudy here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada this morning. Temperatures have cooled down somewhat sitting at 3.9 C | 39.02 F. It will warm up some though, as the day moves forward. We should see some much-needed sunshine shortly. Actually we should have sunshine now for the rest of this week, and into next week too … with temperatures being quite nice. It’s fine with me as I do enjoy being outside. Highway 522 is slowing down some days, but it has picked up with the hunters coming into our area. It will get busier closing in on November, as that is when deer season opens in our area. On another note, I did do a bit of work outside yesterday, in spite of the rain, and today will finish up a few things that is need of doing. Then I will work in my woodworking shop on a couple orders, and some cabinets for our cottage. So … lots to do these days. With the virus here in Ontario they are saying that the numbers are down a touch, logging in 583 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday and one more death. The only thing with that is, they aren’t doing the testing like they were doing, so them numbers are far from the truth in reality. I would say now … what they say, you should double it for a more accurate account. At any rate … the only thing we can do, or at least for those of us that do care of what is going on, is to take extra precautions for ourselves, friends and immediate family. With that I am off for a piece of toast with some local honey that came from an elderly lady friend of ours near North Bay Ontario. (Dam that honey is good!) LOL and a cup of fresh perked coffee with my lovely wife. Can’t get a much healthier breakfast than that. LOL Other than the bread. But then again … if you make your own bread it’s not so bad. Oh! And remember it is always best to eat something before drinking coffee the first thing in the morning. Even if it is a piece of toast or bagel. Reason being … it is easier on the body. Coffee is good for you in moderation, but there are some precautions you need to take before drinking if first thing in the morning. The afternoon is fine on its own. Food for thought, you could say. Take care my friends. Stay safe and do what’s right. GW
