Morning Slice of life Oct 11/2020

Good Morning! We all woke up to sunshine here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada. Kind of nice being it is a Thanksgiving weekend. And while I got ya. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and that, that turkey is the best ever. Well … if you are having a turkey. Turkeys to our family on Thanksgiving is tradition. But with this virus going around things have changed slightly with our two boys staying home and not dropping by. But in saying that we will chat on the phone and things. We will also drop off a turkey dinner for our youngest as he is the closest. So all in all, things will work out. Not much more we can do. For the past two days my wife and I have been so busy I didn’t have a chance to get on here for my morning chat. But should be okay now. I think. LOL you just never know what a day might bring. Highway 522 was quite busy for the past few days. I suspect it because of the Holiday weekend and folks are going here and there picking up things. The LCBO as busy that’s for sure here in our small town. LOL Today I will continue on working in my old woodworking shop on some cabinets. But first I have to clean up my mess I made over the past two days. Small shop doesn’t take much for a feller like me to mess up. But as much as it seems I am complaining … I am not LOL. It’s nice having the equipment to do these things that need doing, or making, or fixing. LOL So with that, I am off for my morning cup of coffee with my lovely wife and a bowl of oatmeal and then will get to work. Stay safe and do what’s right. Especially on this Holiday weekend. The amount of people getting infected right now is staggering. Well over the thousand a day now, if the truth was being told. Hang in there. GW
