Morning Chat Oct 6/2021

Good Morning! It’s a cloudy morning here in Port Loring, Ontario. But it isn’t that cold, with the temperature getting out of bed sitting at 11.3 C | 52.34 F. Today will remain mostly cloudy, but we should see some sunshine later on. Tomorrow should be a better day, sunshine wise. I hope. The temperatures will also remain above normal for a few more days. Highway 522 has picked up a bit with traffic. I suspect a lot of city folks are taking in the leaves and the nice weather that is upon us at the moment. And along with that, it is Thanksgiving Weekend. I can’t say I blame them one bit. Yesterday my wife and I worked outside on the cottage cleaning and touching up a few things that needed to be done before winter. Today I have a bit of mowing to be done along with raking some leaves, putting them in my vegetable gardens, and then if I am up to it, I might till it up for winter. Working the leaves into the soil. Then later on I will get to planting my garlic. With that I am off for an English Muffin with my lovely wife, and will then get to work. Take care and stay safe. Just because the numbers are down a bit, it is no reason to let down our defences. But you all know that … right? LOL GW
