What’s Happening In & Around Port Loring, Ontario, Canada

Yesterday’s Snow Getting out of Bed.

Good Morning!

It’s a cloudy, cool morning here in Port Loring. The temperature waking up was sitting at 4.8 C | 40.64 F. The snow we had yesterday didn’t amount to anything, and melted before the day ended. Actually, our temperatures are going to rise for the next few days into the low 60s F. It will feel somewhat like summer after what we have been having. This damp cold weather plays havoc with the old body, that’s for sure. These so-called specialists say it has nothing to do with how the body feels. I say live in mine for a few days. Ha ha. Highway 522 is bare and dry this morning with a few more hunters coming into our area, setting up things for the Deer hunt, which starts on the first two weeks of November.

On another note, getting out of bed, I saw a lot of Robins seeking out them nice juicy worms throughout our lawn and gardens. They always seem to drop by on their way south for a day or so. It’s like they want to say goodbye for now. I thought I heard one say … “See You In The Spring”

Yesterday I worked in the house here on a Podcast which is live now. Today I will work on another for a while, while my shop is warming up. I have a one of a kind coffee table in the works that I would like to finish. I have the base cleaned up and old wash tub, and the top is glued up waiting to be sanded. So … lots of things to do if I want to do them.
With that, I am off for some homemade pancakes my lovely wife is making for me, and will then see what the day has in store. Take care.

In Closing, I Would Like To Wish You Well.
