What’s Happening In & Around Port Loring, Ontario, Canada on Nov 28/2022

Good Morning!

Well, starting things off, we are having sunshine here in Port Loring. It’s sure nice to see. The temperature is still not so bad, with it sitting at -2.5 C | 27.5 F waking up. It will warm up a wee bit as the day moves forward. Highway 522 is still bare and dry, in spite of the two inches of snow we had overnight. Which once again will make travelling good for those heading off to the big city of North Bay or Sudbury, to do some Christmas shopping. My wife and I prefer North Bay as it is closer, and in all reality it has just about everything we need to get by. And it is a nice drive in to town. Seems no matter how many times we have made the trip over the years, we always see something new. Which keeps things interesting.

On another note, I did lite up my stove in the old Woodworking Shop this morning, first splitting some kindling, and then I split a few large pieces which will keep me warm for the day. I enjoy splitting wood and taking in the morning air. Gets my old bones a movin’ So to speak.

Today I am going to be working on some sign orders we have to get done up. After that, I will see what develops. I never know really what the day might bring, as I start off in one direction and end up doing something else I kind of like doing things that way, keeps life interesting and for sure never boring.

So with that I am off for a bowl of porridge that my lovely wife is making for me, and will then get to doing some work. Stay safe, as there is still a lot of folks getting sick these days.

In Closing, I Would Like To Wish You Well!
