Good Morning. Cloudy day waking up here in Port Loring. Waking up temperatures were sitting at 16.8 C | 62.24 F. Will warm up some as the day moves forward.
Forecast For Saturday: Rain at frequent intervals. Should clear up though through the night and tomorrow we should be back to sunshine along with warm temperatures. Good looking week lies ahead.
Bug Report: Few mosquitoes out there today annoying folks. But not too bad.
Highway Report: Highway 11 and 69 were quite busy through the early evening hours last night but have slowed down today. Highway 522 is quiet. Travelling in Canada right now is good.
Fishing Report: This morning the old weather stick is saying the best times to be out there will be from 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM. Then once again later on this afternoon from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. I give it a 4 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few. Good Luck!
Around Town. Cornfest here in town is edging closer. Great event that takes place every year. For all the information regarding what’s happening click flyer below. On another note we have been steadily putting away for winter with items from our gardens. Tomatoes are in jars and winter soups and stews are being made as I type. Then comes firewood for winter. Talked to a few friends of mine and they were telling me they have theirs already in for winter. Good job to have behind ya. With that tea time here. Orange pekoe with a touch of turmeric is looking pretty good. Enjoy your day and stay safe if out and about.
