Forecast For Today:  Fairly fine, possible showers early.  Will be quite comfortable for the next few days.  Next chance of rain I am thinking will be on Friday.  We didn’t get any of the much needed rain yesterday.

Bug Report:  Few mosquitoes and deerflies annoying folks but not so bad.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and dry this morning with a few critters crossing here and their.  Travelling will be good.  No reason to stay home on days like this.

Fishing Report:  Today the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM.  Then once again from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  I give it a 2 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few this morning and a 3 fish rating out of 5 this afternoon.  Winds are light this morning coming in from the North North West.  Good Luck!

Market day.  For all the information click flyer below.  Other than that not to much happening.  Gardens need watering with the rain that was expected yesterday not arriving.  Tomatoes and Peppers especially need to be kept damp on these hot days.  Also one has to remember not to use too cold of water, as it toughens the skin.  I like to fill my rain barrel from the drilled well, then let it set for a day, then use it. Good Morning:  Beauty of a day here in Port Loring Ontario.  Temperatures waking up were sitting at 18.5 C | 65.3 F.

Forecast For Sunday: Rather unsettled clearing later.  Will become quite warm later on this morning with lots of sunshine.

Bug Report:  Few mosquitoes annoying folks but all and all not to bad.  Places they like are in the bush or buildings and around wet areas.  The sunshine will help a lot.  And don’t scratch!!!!

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and dry.  Travelling will be great.  Few critters making their way across or an appearance just to be nosy.  Care should be taken.

Fishing Report:  This morning the old weather stick is saying that the best time to be out there with pole in hand will be from 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM.  Then later on from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  I give it a 4 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few.  Winds are light so far this morning coming in from the south west.  Good Luck!

Around Town.  Our small store is quite busy these days with flute, books and my wife’s paintings being sold.  Great to see folks drop by, makes my day.  On another note the gardens are growing quite well.  They do need some watering which I will get at today sometime.  Not much just a bit to make them feel good.  They as humans do need attention now and then in the way of being looked after.  I did take a picture of my vegetable garden for you to look at if you so wish.  Click Picture below.  With that enjoy your day, stay safe and take in some sunshine. Bug Report:  Lots of skeeter’s and deerflies irritating folks these days.  Hot sun will control them in coming days.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and dry with a few critters moving across. Most now will stay in the woods where it is cool.   Travelling will be good.  No reason to sit at home these days.

Around Town:  There is an announcement out there relating to the taxing of vacant land.  Not just sure what my thoughts are on the subject yet but i feel it would be a  worth while item for the community to pay attention to. After all it is your town. Here is the note relating to what is going on.

The Vacant Land Tax Advisory Sub-committee will present it’s recommendation(s) to the LSB Board Thursday, July 16 @ 7 : 00 pm at the Argyle Community Centre (formerly known as the Argyle Lions Den).

Good Morning:: Nice looking day here starting off.  Temperatures waking up were a touch cool sitting at 13.3 C | 55.94 F.  Great weather for sleeping.  I like it much better than being so humid.  Each their own though.

Forecast For Thursday:  Some clouds with sunshine.  Will see lots of sunshine for the rest of the week.

Around Town:  Grass has slowed down a lot so mowing is easier.  Gardens are growing quite well.  New crop of romaine lettuce is showing off and we been eating it now for the past week.  I like it when it is young before the leaves get to large.  So good for you too.  With that heading off for my morning tea.  Dandelion is our choice this morning.  Then will see where the day takes us. Forecast For Wednesday: Fairly fine, possible showers early.  Will warm up considerably as the day moves forward.  Great weather for the next 5 days.  Summer is hear showing off.  About time.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and dry this morning and travelling will be good.  Made a trip to Sundridge yesterday wife and I and seen lots of critters making their way across. Would pay to keep an eye open to that respect.
