Nice looking day starting things off here in Port Loring, Ontario. The sun is shinning and temperatures are sitting at 3.5 C | 38.3 F. It’s nice to see them warmer temperatures. The barometer is falling and my old weather stick is predicting some heavy rain for later on today and through tonight. Which should get rid of a lot of this snow we have on the ground at the moment. Highway 522 is bare and dry for now, which will make travelling good. If you have to go anywhere this morning would be the best time to travel, or wait till tomorrow. We didn’t have any snow overnight. Today I will work away here on some projects I have to do around the house. With that I am off for my morning cup of coffee with my lovely wife. Have a great day. Just One More Story by George Walters

Well it is one cold morning here in Port Loring Ontario, Canada. Waking up temperatures were sitting at -18.1 C | -0.58 F. We didn’t have any snow overnight. Highway 522 does have some icy sections throughout and along with some snow covered areas. It will be a good day for travelling but care should be taken. We should also see some sunshine today, but with these cold temperatures you won’t feel the warmth much. With the winds coming in from the North West it will feel just that much colder. Today I have a few things to do around the house here and in my shop so that should keep me out of trouble for a while. With that I am off for a bite to eat. GW

A while back our friend Carrie dropped by with her horse Rhythm. It’s always great to see them, as years ago I had a horse almost identical. Every time I see Rhythm she brings back a lot of memories. And yes a carrot or two was in order. She is a good poser too when it comes to taking pictures. Just look at that hind leg. Made my day. LOL
