Well we had our January thaw. Some would say now that the Global Warming has hit but I say it’s nothing of the sort.  January thaws have been with us from the beginning of time. Some years are more pronounced than some but for most parts they are about the same.  One thing about this thaw was, I got rid of the ice build up on my roof.  I sure had a lot this year and it was my own fault.  I didn’t shut up the upstairs and the warmth got up there and well that is what causes the ice jams.  So now that it is melted I closed up the old trap door and it should be good for the next couple months till spring hits.  Today was sunny a first for a few days so that was nice to see for a change.
