Port Loring’s Weather, News & Hunting Times

Good morning folks. Hope you all had a good sleep. The weather being so cool sure keeps one under the sheets in the morning. At least for this feller. Today we will have lots of sunshine with temperatures reaching 41 °f and then going down to 30 °f this evening. Barometer here in Port Loring is rising, a good sign, sitting at the moment at 28:38 in Hg. For those that enjoy hunting the old weather stick says the best times to be out there will be from 8:37 AM – 10:37 AM. Then again from 3:07 PM – 4:07 PM. The moon will rise today at 3:07 PM & will set at 1:54 AM. It will be overhead at 8:58 PM & underfoot at 8:37 AM.

Moon Phase today is Solunar Table Moon Phase is 69% percent waxing gibbous  69% Waxing Gibbous.

The sun got out of bed this morning at 8:03 AM and will set at 6:01 PM.

Around town, quiet, but we still are getting the odd customer dropping by our small store, picking up a few items. So can’t complain in that area, along with our book sales. Once the snow starts to fall and the lakes freeze over the snowmobiles will be out. I have to tell ya, we live in the best country in the world for snowmobile trails. They go for miles and are maintained amazingly well for the area they cover.
