Information For Port Loring

Good Morning:  Well some sun is shinning down upon us here in Port Loring this morning.    Temperatures also aren’t that bad.  Waking up they were sitting at 7.6 C | 45.68 F.

Forecast For Today: Rather unsettled clearing later.

Highway Report:  Great day to get out and go where ever.  Travelling will be good today.  Few deer moving across the highways so care should be taken.

Hunting Report:  This morning the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  Then a bit later on from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM.  I give it a 3 buck rating out of 5 for seeing a few.  Good Luck!

Around Town:  All is quiet these days.  Hardly a car moving up or down highway 522 this morning.  Thinking with it being a touch darker in the mornings, folks are enjoying the sheets a bit more.  Can’t say I blame them neither.  Today I will be doing some computer work.  Seems every so often things have to be fixed up.  Luckily I have a son Karl that is an expert on the subject.  With that I will head on off for my morning tea. Turmeric is my choice this morning.  Great for what ails ya and prevents a whole mess of things that could.  Enjoy your day and stay safe.

Around Town:  Well cold weather has taken its toll on most of our outside veggies this year.  Kale is still holding its own.  I have been taking a few plants in each night in hopes of extending their growing season.  But even with that they don’t do to well.  About time to call it quits for another year.  Today going to work once again on some firewood.  Trying to get what is needed piled high and dry before the not so good weather hits our area.  We did put the oil furnace on this morning being so cold.  Feels good to.  So with that will head on off for my morning tea and see what the day has in store.  Enjoy your day and stay safe.
