Good Morning:  Well another cold morning waking up here in Port Loring.  Looking outside temperatures were sitting at -19.2 C | -2.56 F.  Might have to put a coat on before venturing outside.

Forecast For Today: Fairly fine, possible snow early. Will see some sunshine.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is pretty well bare throughout.  Does have a few snow covered areas here and there.  Travelling though should be good.

Snow Report:  No snow accumulations over night.

Ice Fishing Times:  This morning the old weather stick is saying that the best time to be out there will be from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM.  Then once again a bit later from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM.  I give it a 4 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few.  Good Luck!

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is partially bare with some snow covered areas throughout.  Travelling though should be good.

Snow Report:  Accumulations through yesterday and into the night was 3 inches.

Forecast For Today: Some Snow and a bit of sunshine, very unsettled.

Long Range Forecast:  Looks like this will be the last week of cold weather.  After that things will be warming up quite quickly.  We could see a winter storm and some cold weather Mid-March.  But it will be short lived.  Winter is about done with us here in Port Loring.  OK by me.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 as of now is bare for most parts throughout. Travelling should be OK today.

Around Town:  Still very quiet.  Stores are slow other than the folks selling fuel.  Snowmobiles keep them busy, reason being we only have two places you can buy gas here in our area. One here in Port Loring and One in Arnstein. Ice Fishing Times:  Today the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there with pole in hand will be from 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM.  Then once again a bit later from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM.  I give it a 5 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few today.  Great day to be out there on the ice.  Enjoy it while you can.
