Got a note asking for us if we would announce an even taking place at the Powassan Library next weekend. Sounds like a lot of fun and funds are going to a good cause. Also what better way to get some sunshine which we all are in need of these days.
PSA—Powassan Library Fund-raising Walk-a-thon.
Pledge forms will be available at the Powassan District Library as of April 14 for the May 5 walk-a-thon. Routes are 1, 2 and 5 kms and families are encouraged to come out and support the first fund-raising event, with all funds raised going to a planned library expansion.
