Well if you  have been reading my posts here at the blog you would have read where I predicted a storm could be heading our way.  Well turns out my prediction is going to be true as today they just issued a Major winter storm warning.  Today it will start off being windy with a few clouds.  Then we will have a few flurries developing this afternoon.   High today will be around 26F. Winds  will increase and come in  from the East at  20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow this afternoon around 60%.  I expect around an inch or so.  Then tonight we will have the brunt of the storm with heavy snow and strong winds.  By morning we could have up to 12 inches. I say could as it all  as it all depends on a few formalities, like which way the winds will prevail from and barometric pressure.   Temperatures will stay about the same as daytime temperatures with a  Low  of 24F. Winds should remain coming in from the East at 20 to 30 mph.  So I would think we will defiantly have a white Christmas folks.  Tomorrow will bring more snow also.  Barometer is holding stead at 29.21 in Hg.  The moon will rise at 12:08 PM & set at 12:24 AM. Moon phase today is;    50%  First  Quarter.  The sun did rise this morning behind some clouds at: 7:57 AM. & will set at 4:36 PM. Giving us here in Port Loring Ontario; 8 hrs. 39 mins.
