What’s Happening In & Around Port Loring Ontario

Good Morning:  Nice looking day here this morning so far. Temperatures waking up were sitting at 14.1 C | 57.38 F.

Forecast For Today:  Some sun early then Stormy, much rain entering into the picture.  Will clear overnight with warmer temperatures for the rest of the week.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and dry throughout. Great travelling weather.

Bug Report:  Few black flies entering into the picture but still quite nice out there.

Fishing Information.  This morning the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.  Then again from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  I give it a 4 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few this morning and if the rain holds off a 5 fish rating out of 5 this afternoon.  Winds this morning are coming in from the South South West at 0.5 m/s | 1.8 km/h | 1.12 mph.

Around Town:  I see quite a few cars and trucks towing boats and things going up and down the highway these days.  Cottagers are taking advantage of the nice weather.  Great to see them back in the area.  For myself and my wife we have been steadily working on opening our small store, along with bringing together the new health book.  Had a few problems with the colours on the cover but it is coming together and should be ready for purchase in the next few weeks. I will let you know when we have them on hand.  Tea time here orange pekoe this morning, with touch of fresh dandelion.  Can’t get much better than that.  Enjoy your day.  You can reach George Walters at [email protected]
