Good Morning: Well still a bit cool here in Port Loring. Waking up temperatures were sitting at 7.6 C | 45.68 F. Will warm up some shortly.
Forecast For Today: We will have some sunshine along with some clouds throughout most of the day. There is a chance of a passing shower later on this afternoon and into tonight.
Bug Report: Lots of blackflies in our area annoying folks which will last for a few more weeks. Once the dragon flies make their appearance they will be quickly eliminated as the blackflies are their main source of food.
Highway Report: Highway 522 from east to west is bare and dry. Travelling is good.
Fishing Information: This morning the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM. Then again later on this afternoon from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. I give it a 4 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few this morning and 5 fish rating out of 5 this afternoon. Great day to bring a few in. Winds are calm this morning coming in from the South South West. Good Luck!
Around Town: Few cars in our area but for most parts things are quiet. Will pick up some with the American Holiday approaching. Great to see our USA friends edging their way back into our area for the summer. On another note I did get my gardens tilled up for the first time yesterday. Looks good and once things warm up a touch at night, it will be a good growing season. Nothing like fresh tilled soil to enlighten a feller. Tea time here. Orange Pekoe this morning with a touch of fresh dandelion roots taken from our yard earlier this morning. Enjoy your day in ways that suits you best.
