Good Morning: Rainy Day here in Port Loring. Nice light rain though which will be good for the gardens. Tomatoes are in need. Waking up it was a touch cooler with temperatures sitting at 14.8 C | 58.64 F.
Forecast For Sunday: Rain at frequent intervals. Should see some more sunshine tomorrow.
Highway Report: Highway 522 is bare and wet with lots of critters making their way across. Care should be taken if out and about but travelling will be good.
Bug Report: Mosquitoes today with the clouds and wetness are out in great quantities. Blackflies are almost all gone now for the season. Few deerflies annoying folks. Joys of the north.
Fishing Report: Today the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Then once again a bit later from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. I give it a 3 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few this morning and a 5 fish rating this afternoon. Winds this morning are coming in from the Wind Direction 12 deg | NNE. Best bring a raincoat. Good Luck!
Around Town: Not to much to report here on this Sunday morning. Folks are sleeping in some, I suspect being a touch cloudy outside and weather being not so good. Good day to fill up the rain barrels for the dryer days that is sure to come. Just put my pipes from the roof into them a bit ago. Nothing like fresh rain water to feed you plants. So with that will head off for a tea. English Breakfast with a touch of dandelion is what is tempting me. Enjoy your day and stay safe. You can reach George Walters at [email protected]
