Information For Port Loring Ontario

Good Morning: Well cloudy day waking up.  Temperatures were sitting at,                     20.9 C | 69.62 F.

Forecast For Saturday: Stormy, much rain.  We could see some sunshine later on in the day.

Bug Report:  Through the day things are pretty good.  At night though is a different story.  Mosquitoes would carry a fellow away if out to long. Especially near water, boat docks or woods.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and at the moment dry.  Travelling will be good today.  Critters are out and about, a norm for this time of year so care should be taken.

Fishing Report:  Today the old weather stick with gathered data is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM.  Then once again if weather permits from 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM.  I give it a 3 fish rating this morning and a 4 fish rating out of five this afternoon for catching a few.  I did get out yesterday afternoon with my very good friend Barry.  For the type of day we did quite well. Got a few Pickerel, couple nice Bass along with a mess of catfish at the end of the day.  Had a great day for sure and looking forward to the next time.  Didn’t get any pictures as it was dark by the time we got home and mosquitoes were bugging us to much.  Next time.

Around Town:  Not too much to report, things are quite quiet these days.  Business’s   are doing a modest business.  Gardens are growing quite well but are in dire need of some rain.  Hoping we get some today.  With that heading off for my morning tea, Chaga this morning.  Good for what ails you along with being a tasty drink. Enjoy your day and stay safe.  Inquiries: [email protected]
