Humour for a cloudy day

Now don’t get to thinking that I am a religious feller as I surely am not but now and then something catches my eye that holds my interest. In doing so thought I would share.

A priest offered a lift to a Nun. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg. The priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg. The nun said,” Father, remember Psalm 129?” The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again said, “Father, remember Psalm 129?” The priest apologized “Sorry sister but the flesh is weak.” Arriving at the convent, the nun went on her way. On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, “Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory.”

Moral of the story: If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

  1. Hi George. Following your blog again. It’s that time of year. So sad about all the flooding in Bracebridge and Huntsville. Is there any flooding in Port Loring?

    1. Great to hear from you. Well there is lots of water but it is soaked up quickly with our sandy soil It can rain hard water everywhere then within an hour it is all gone. In some areas there is a lot of water like marshes but it subsides quickly as well. My vegetable garden is still a bit to wet to till up for the growing season but I suspect it will be ready in a couple weeks. The grass is green finally, and we will be cutting it in a few weeks. I think summer is slowly closing in on us. The lakes still have some ice on them in certain areas. Have a great day. GW
