Ottawa Reveals 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan;
Of how, they plan on putting a cap on the oil and gas sector, designed to lower emissions to get to net-zero by 2050.

That is fine in theory, but I don’t think it will work, as simply put the rest of the world isn’t doing their share, so all that we accomplish will probably be for nothing, other than costing us here in Canada billions of dollars. As our Powers That Be, can’t do anything without the working man’s money.

And along with that, we don’t have a good alternative to turn to. If it was up to me, I would take what we have, and use our knowledge to make it safe. We have some pretty smart people out there today. But hey! I have been known to be wrong from time to time.
