Good Morning! It’s another sunny morning here in Port Loring, Ontario. It is a touch cool though, with the temperature getting out of bed sitting at 5.3 C | 41.54 F. But we still have a bit of ice on top of my rain barrel, so it did get down to below freezing through the night. Highway 522 is bare and dry this morning, which will make travelling good today. The blackflies aren’t annoying anyone as yet, but once it stays warm, that will change.
On another note, I worked all day in my woodworking shop yesterday. Today, however, my wife and I will be working in our gardens, moving some plants and things. And I am sure we will be taking some time to do some front porch sittin’. Yesterday we had our morning coffee sitting in the sunshine, which was nice. We both enjoy the outside and taking in what nature has to offer, when things warm up.
With that, I am off for a bowl of cereal this morning and will then see what the day has in store, other than what we have planned. I am leaning towards opening our small cottage today too. Take care and stay safe. More and more people are getting sick with this virus, here in town every day. GW
