Here’s a recipe for Chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti and sauce: Pretty Tasty!
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 pound spaghetti
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Set up three shallow dishes: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for the breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
- Coat each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten egg and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on each side, about 3–4 minutes per side.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce over the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place the cooked chicken breasts on top of the sauce. Spoon the remaining marinara sauce over each chicken breast.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over each chicken breast.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, and the chicken is cooked through.
- While the chicken is baking, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and toss with a little bit of olive oil.
- Serve the Chicken Parmesan with the spaghetti and extra marinara sauce on the side.
