Morning Report

Well another really nice day here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada. The sun is shinning and temperatures waking up were sitting at 11.4 C | 52.52 F. Pretty nice for this time of year. The winds are light coming in from the North West. Yesterday my wife and I did manage to get the lawn cut, install a new chimney top, and clean up the inside pipes and chimney. So we should be good to go when the cold temperatures ease their way into our area. Not that I am looking forward to the colder weather, seems every year it takes a toll on this old body of mine. But there is a remedy for that, and that is go where it is warmer. With that I am off for my morning cup of coffee and will see what the day has in store for me. One just never knows.

Fishing Times

Friday
08/23/19

Good Times
7:00 AM-10:00 AM
7:00 PM-9:30 PM

Slow Times
2:00 PM-4:00 PM

Today fishing won’t be the greatest with the winds coming in from the North West. If they change fishing will get better. Today I give it a 2-Star Rating out of 5 for catching a few. Good Luck and Stay Safe!

Old Well Pump

Here is a picture of the old well pump that was at my school 69 years ago. Still works as my wife and I dropped by for a drink travelling through the area last year. Good water too still nice, cold and sweet.

Turtle Picture

Here is a turtle we seen awhile back asking for some help to cross the road. So we stopped and helped him out. For our help I figured we deserved a picture. On another note, take into account that the highway we stopped on was 522, and not busy, so we didn’t cause any accidents with stopping along the highway. On a busy highway I wouldn’t have bothered. Not that I wouldn’t have wanted too.
