Good morning. A bit cloudy but other than that not to bad. Barometer is steady at 1012 Mb. Winds are from the South West and calm. Temperatures will reach a high today of about 55°F then dropping to 45°F later on tonight. Tomorrow will be much cooler with temperatures only reaching 16°F. So one will have to bring back out the old winter coat I suspect. But only for a week or so. The moon today will rise at 8:11 AM and then set at 11:06 PM. It will be overhead at 3:35 PM and underfoot at 3:13 AM. Moon phase today is 8% Waxing Crescent. The sun got out of bed at 7:11 AM and will set at 7:39 PM, giving us here in Port Loring Ontario, 12 hrs. 28 mins. of daylight.
News For Port Loring & District
Our two new highway signs will be installed with in the next month or so, one coming in from Highway 69 and one coming in from Highway 11. Long time coming and will finally let folks know who we are back here. I came up with the plan, a couple years back thinking that advertising in papers is not a bad thing, but it is a one time thing, and then ones money is gone. Two signs will advertise for our community for years and my way of looking at it is; it is money well spent. The gift that keeps on giving you might say. Have a great day.
