Good morning. Well we finally got some rain here in Port Loring. Rained most the night off and on and still raining this morning. Much needed though. Today will be windy with scattered thunderstorms. A few storms may be severe. High 74F. Winds SW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 50%. Tonight we will have: Partly cloudy skies. Low around 55F. Good for sleeping. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Barometer has been falling slowly through the night, to be expected and now sitting at; 28.85 in Hg. The moon will rise at; 10:01 PM & Set: 10:10 AM. Moon Phase is; 86% Waning Gibbous. The sun rose at; 6:06 AM and will set at: 8:41 PM. giving us, 14 hrs. 35 mins of daylight. For those wanting to go fishing today you will need a rain coat or some kind of cover to keep the rain off ones head I would suspect. But if your up to it the old weather stick says the best time to be out there will be from; 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM and then again from; 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM. With the winds changing to the SW, fishing should start to get a touch better.
