& set at: 11:13 PM.  Moon Phase today is; Solunar Table Moon Phase is 40% percent waxing crescent  40%  Waxing  Crescent.  The sun rose  this morning at 6:28 AM  & will set at: 8:12 PM; giving us here in Port Loring; 13 hrs. 44 mins of daylight.  Lost 3 minutes.  For those wanting to do some fishing, looks like a fine day heading our way.  Not to cold, winds light coming in from the SW.  Barometer holding steady, Can’t get much better than that. The old weather stick looking at it this morning, says the best times to be out there will be from; 6:00 AM – 8:30 AM, then again from; 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and then once again from; 6:15 PM – 8:15 PM.

News For Port Loring

One should remember that the 19TH Annual Cornfest  on September 1st, 2012 – starting at 2:00 p.m. once again at the Arnstein Community Center; is upon us.  Should make for one great day let me tell ya.  Also it’s in a great location too with brand new play ground equi9pement for the young ones and plenty of parking.  Washrooms also are available for women and men.   Many more points of interest, so mark it down on the calendar and be sure you drop by and show your support, to one of Port Loring’s greatest events.
