Waxing Gibbous. The sun woke this morning showing off at; 6:35 AM and will set at 8:03 PM, giving us here in Port Loring; 13 hrs. 28 mins. of daylight. Lost four minutes yesterday. For those wanting to do some fishing on this fine day, the old weather stick says the best times to be out there will be from; 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and then again from; 5:45 PM – 7:00 PM. Should be a great day fishing I give it four fish day out of five.
News For Port Loring & District
. Our corn fest is getting closer and will be holding its 19TH Annual Cornfest on September 1st, 2012 – starting at 2:00 p.m. once again at the Arnstein Community Center. One event you won’t want to miss, let me tell ya. On another note went out and did some fishing the other day on the lake and took a few pictures, thought I would share.
