Chance of rain 90%.  We could get up to one inch of rain.. Winds could occasionally gust over 50 mph.  Tonight we will see lots of clouds with a bit of rain.  Low tonight will be around 41F. Winds still coming in from the NE at 10 to 20 mph.  The moon will rise at; 6:30 PM
& set at 8:46 AM.  Moon Phase today is;   99%  Waning  Gibbous.  The sun did rise but behind some clouds at; 7:57 AM & will set at 6:07 PM, giving us here in Port Loring,   10 hrs. 10 mins. of daylight.  Lost another three minutes.  For those wanting to do some hunting today in-spite of the rain and wind; the old weather stick says the best time to be out there will be from; 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM.  Deer season is getting closer.

News For Port Loring

Not to much to report.  Quiet around town.  Lots of weather news with Hurricane Sandy making its way inland through Southern Ontario.  If the truth be known they won’t be as bad off as us up here in the north. Reason being the winds are much higher on the outer part of these storms than the center.  But it is a good thing to be ready for what might happen or could happen, especially in the city, as with so many people all in one location anything is possible.   The saying there is safety in numbers is only partly true.  Enjoy your day my friends.
