Highway Report: Highway 522 was quite busy late in the day yesterday pertaining to an accident around 2 p.m. on Highway 69, about three kilometres south of Pointe au Baril, in Shawanaga Township. I guess a pick-up truck tried to pass a couple campers and an SUV hit the truck head on. Two died in that accident. Doesn’t pay folks to get in a rush. A few extra minutes isn’t worth a life. With this happening some traffic was re-routed through Highway 522.
Bug Report: Mosquitoes in the evening hours are quite bad in places. Deer flies are also annoying some near water or shaded areas. For most parts through the day things are pretty good.

I will post a couple pictures tomorrow. Today the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Then once again a bit later on from 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM. I give it a 4 fish rating out of 5 for catching a few today. Good Luck.
