George’s Daily Post Nov. 14

Good Morning:  Well cold Saturday morning here in Port Loring Ontario.  Temperatures waking up were sitting at -4.7 C | 23.54 F.  Will warm up a wee bit as the day moves forward.

Snow Report:  Had our first bit of snow for the season last night.  No accumulations occurred.  But it is a sign of what’s to come.

Pain Related To Weather:  Today the weather will neither help nor hinder anyone.  Care should be taken if out and about.

Hunting Information:  Well deer season with rifles is about done for another year.  Bow season though will pick up where things left off.  It runs from  Nov. 16 to Dec. 15.  Going to try my best to be out there for a few days.  Today the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM.  Then again a bit later from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM.  I give it a 4 Buck rating out of 5 for seeing a few.  The rest is up to you.  Good Luck and stay warm.

Around Town:  Not too much happening in and around our small community this morning.   Hardly a car or truck moving up or down the highway.  Thinking folks are sleeping in a touch these days.  Some of course are out in the bush but for most parts folks are taking things easy.  Myself I will be relaxing today, got some inside work to do and will let the day unfold around me.  Enjoy your day.
