Good Morning! Well … its another sunny day here in Port Loring, Ontario. Sure nice for a change let me tell ya. The sunshine should stay with us for most of the day and into tomorrow. Then on Friday we could see up to 4 inches of snow. It all depends on which way the storm tracks. But after that the weather is going to be quite nice. The temperature getting out of bed was sitting at -13.3 C | 8.06 F. Balmy you might say for this time of year. Highway 522 is bare and dry throughout, which will make travelling good if you absolutely have to go somewhere. For my wife and I, we are quite content to stay home, especially now with this new fast spreading variant of the virus starting to form here in Ontario and across Canada. The only way we can contain this from getting worse is to stay shut down, and I mean everything including the schools until the vaccine is available, Even then, it is going to be a challenge to contain it and save lives. On another note, I didn’t do much yesterday, kind of took it easy. I did do up a couple more stories for my columns in the newspapers and places. I like to get a few ahead so when the nice weather hits I can be outside instead of sitting in front of a computer. But don’t get me wrong … I do enjoy writing. Just certain times of the year. With that I am off for a bowl of cereal and will then see what the day has in store. Life’s like a mystery novel for sure. You just never know what is in store. Hope for the best prepare for the worst. Take care and stay safe. GW
