Good Morning!
This morning in Port Loring it is partly cloudy.
The temperature has dropped to -10.2 F | 13.64 F
It’s a far cry from yesterday. The good news is we did get rid of a pile of snow over the past few days. I would say we lost about half of what we did have. So what remains is almost a foot. But in saying that. We will be having some more snow later on today and into tomorrow. We could possibly see another 6 inches. Kind of depends on which way the storm tracks. Time will tell. Highway 522 is bare and dry this morning.
On another note, yesterday, my wife and I worked around the house here. She did some cleaning and cooking. I worked away on my new book I am writing. Today we both will do the same. I will however take some of my wood ashes and scatter them down our driveway, as at the moment it is like a skating rink out there. The ashes work well. It stops you from slipping, and the shinny gleam of the ashes melts the ice more quickly. So nothing goes to waste around our old homestead.
With that, I am off for some pancakes this morning that my lovely wife is preparing for me; and will then see what the day has in store, other than what we have planned.
Stay Safe. GW
