Good Morning:  Well not a bad looking day so far.  Temperatures were sitting at…11.4 C | 52.52 F waking up with the area covered with fog.  But the sun is burning it up and won’t be long before we see some clear blue skies.

Forecast For Today:     Stormy, much rain will enter into the picture later on this afternoon and into tomorrow.

Fishing Report:   This morning the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from 8:30 AM – 11:45 AM.  Then once again a bit later on from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.  I give it a 3 fish rating out of 4 for catching them this morning and a 4 fish rating out of 4 this afternoon.  Will be no problem in bringing them in today.  Good Luck and have fun.

Around Town:  Very quiet this morning, hardly a car moving east or west on highway 522.  Wife and I did go for a drive yesterday to take in the beauty once again that this country has to offer. The colours from the leaves don’t last long, so if one is interested in things like such they should do so this week.  If not it will be to late. I found while out that there isn’t one spot that isn’t worth stopping and taking in.  We as humans think we have so much power amongst our mind and bodies, but in reality it is nothing compared to what nature can do.  Enjoy your day my friends this nice weather won’t hold for much longer.  Soak up some of that sunshine too, in doing so your body will flourish with health.  Which is what is needed for the long cold winter which isn’t to far off.

Forecast For Today:   Changeable, mending with temperatures rising, along with sunshine making a much needed appearance.  Kind of puts a smile on my face.

Fishing Times:  This morning the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there with line in water will be from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Then once again from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM.  I give it a 2 fish rating out of 4 for catching them this morning and a 3 fish rating out of 4 this afternoon.  Should be no reason why you can’t have fish for supper. Around Town:  A few vehicles moving up and down the Highway here this morning.  But for most parts quiet.  Tourists have gone back to their cosy homes in the cities and us here, well…we are left with nothing but splendour and solitude. Now in reality I am thinking we are quite lucky.  Also the leaves and nature all around us is changing this time of year, some showing off all they have to offer with colours of all kinds.  Amazing what is around us if we set back and take it all in. In actuality we are very fortunate here in the north, as there is nothing more better than living along side…nature.  Enjoy Your Day My Friends.

Around Town:  Things are quiet with not to much happening in an around our town.  Was down to see Mike Clapperton yesterday and Darrell, they were quite busy.  Mike has a new sign up letting folks know he has Maple Syrup there at the garage.  And he is doing a brisk business.  But then again, it is to be expected, as the quality is exceptionally good.  So if your sweet tooth is asking for a treat, this is the place for you.   He has lots on hand and comes in all sizes.    11571 Hwy 522, Port Loring ON, P0H 1Y0, 705-757-2422. Also we here in Port Loring we are getting some new pavement put done on Wilson Lake Road.  Miller Paving is on the scene.  Much needed and will be a lot nicer to drive or walk on when all said an done.

Around Town:  Things are a touch quiet with the with kids back home heading off to school.  But I suspect things will pick up a bit this weekend with a new crowd campers and such.  See lots of folks staying in our parks this year, taking in what they have to offer.  One thing we do have here in Ontario is great Parks.  Most are fully equipped with items that folks need, with peace and quiet thrown in for good measure.  Not to forget all that nature has to offer.  Great to see so many folks taking advantage of these places.  So my friends you all have a great day and make sure you get outside and soak up some of that sunshine.  Won’t be to long before the colder weather moves into our area.  Hate to even think along them lines, but the inevitable is something we can’t get away from.  Unless one say….follows the sun to a warmer country like Florida.  Kind of gets my mind to thinking.

The new company would have its headquarters in Canada, allowing the 60-year-old Burger King to pay a much lower tax rate.
