Good Morning:  Well another rainy day here in Port Loring.  Warm though with temperatures sitting at…11 C | 51.8 F.

Forecast For Today:   Much like yesterday..Stormy, much rain.

Hunting Times:   Today the old weather stick is saying that the best times to be out there will be from7:00 AM – 9:00 AM.  Then once again from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.  Precise times are as follows…2:00 PM..3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Winds are calm this morning coming in from the East.  They could switch a bit later to the North.  Sunrise this morning is 7:38 AM and will set at 6:32 PM.  I give it a 2 Buck rating out of 5 for seeing one or two.   We are also now into Pre Rut season for the deer.  Gearing up you might say for what is to come.  So just never know where they are going to be coming from.  Good Luck!

Around Town:    Well been doing a lot of shop work these days getting things done up early for next year.  I managed to make around sixty flutes so will have an amazing showing come spring.  All tuned in the pentatonic scale scale, in all different Keys.  Also got a few already done up for those that would like one for Christmas.  My wife also has been steadily working on some of her paintings…and there also we will have a great showing comes spring. She has even done up a few on some 100 year old slate we got many years ago from a factory in Thorold Ontario.  One of a kind pieces for sure, never to be found again.  Could say treasures.  She has sold a great number of paintings this year exceeding last year.  Thinking folks now know just how talented she really is as they are coming from all over to see her display.  Here is her web site, more will be added in the coming days…. https://ruth-walters.squarespace.com/  On another note, still to wet to get the tiller into my vegetable garden.  Hoping it dries up some so I can get things done up and plant my garlic for next spring.  Found over the years one has to work with Mother Nature not against her.  Enjoy your day my friends.  George Walters [email protected]
