Around Town:  Quiet is the norm for this time of year.  I suspect a few snow birds will be pointing their cars homeward leaving the sunny south for another year.  Myself I think next month would be the time to leave, as March up here can bring on all kinds of not so good weather.  Also the highways coming home in April are pretty well free from any nasty conditions.  On another note it is a great day for a walk to soak in some of that sunshine and breath in some of our fresh northern air.  You can feel a touch of warmth in the sun now which is a good sign that spring isn’t far off. Around Town:  Not much to report here this morning.  It is a good day to get outside and soak up some of that sunshine.  I know it is pretty hard all bundled up, but even with it shinning down upon us it is a substantial gain in ones health.   I have found over the years one great way to bring in the sunshine, that is to look up at the sun with your eyes closed.  Things will become red in colour.  Just hold that position for a few minutes and let the energy absorb through.  You will be surprised how good your body preforms for the rest of the day. Long Range Forecast:  Looks like this will be the last week of cold weather.  After that things will be warming up quite quickly.  We could see a winter storm and some cold weather Mid-March.  But it will be short lived.  Winter is about done with us here in Port Loring.  OK by me.

Around Town;  Quiet for a Sunday morning,  Hardly a car moving up and down the highway.  Wife and I went to North Bay yesterday to pick up some supplies that we were in need of.  Had a great day.  Roads going in was snow covered but on the way home they were bare and dry.  Stores in North Bay were doing a brisk business with customers lined up at every check out.  North Gate Mall was also quite busy.  In the produce department Florida Grapefruit are for sale now.  Nothing can beat the taste than grapefruit from Florida.  I won’t buy them from any other place.  If your into eating healthy this is the time to get them.
